Atlanta Dog reacts to Vick’s return by stealing corn husk...Atlanta, GA- Upon hearing word of Michael Vick’s return to Atlanta, an area dog reportedly reacted as if her owner were not home and rummaged through the garbage can. Her owner, who was running errands at the time of the incident, attempted to quell the pup's trepidation over Vick's homecoming weeks ago. But as the dog's actions indicate, his attempts were futile.

“Daisy is clearly nervous about Michael's return to Atlanta, Sunday ” said owner Josh Peterson, who spoke in a hushed voice so as to avoid Daisy over hearing. “But I explained to her that Vick is a redeemed man, and that the dog fighting thing shouldn't hound him his entire career.” Peterson later added, “you see what I did there.”

At press time, Daisy was spotted languishing below a windowsill, slipping seemlessly between sleep and causally gnawing a corn husk. Yet, despite this obvious show of anxiety, Peterson did find the pup's demeanor to be quite curious. “Funny thing is” said Peterson “this is exactly how Daisy reacted when I got my big promotion. And, when my Grammy passed. And, pretty much whenever we aren't out on a walk... Hmm.”
