GLENDALE, AZ—After the Cardinals’ 27-6 loss to the 49ers last night, Arizona quarterback Derek Anderson went on an epic post-game rant in which he claimed to find nothing funny about football and that he pours his “heart and soul into this every single week.”
These troubling comments now have his teammates worrying that Anderson is beginning to take this whole football thing way too seriously. “I don’t know his deal,” stated lineman Deuce Lutui. “We used to laugh all the time on the sidelines. Now it’s hard to get him to even crack a smile. Seriously bro, lighten up. We’re the worst team in the worst division in the league. You don’t need to take this crap so friggin’ seriously.”
