LUBBOCK — You Tube videos surfaced Thursday of Texas Tech Red Raiders ex-head coach Mike Leach verbally abusing his players after games in the locker room. The video making the most waves is one where Leach rips his “God squad” players—a demeaning term for evangelical Christians on his team. Other videos show him berating the players with dozens of f-words. Leach has decided to capitalize on this event by publishing a new version of the Bible called “The Uncensored Bible, the real shit Jesus Fucking Christ said.” The book is laced with profanity, starting with Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the shit out of the heavens and the motherfucking earth.” Leach claims to have sourced religious scholars for the real language used during biblical times.
