BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI—Tyler Beckett, a five star recruit and key member of Brother Rice High School’s Division 2 State Championship team, signed his national letter of intent today in front of a crowd at Brother Rice’s gym, committing to the University of Michigan and to not picking up a pen or piece of paper for the next four years.
“I’m really excited to be a Wolverine and even happier that I won’t have to bother with all this hard writing stuff,” said the 6’2” 245 lb linebacker. Beckett, now free from the academic rigors of high school, will have tutors and classmates eager for the chance to befriend a football player to handle all of his paper work iat Michigan, allowing him to focus solely on football.
