CLEVELAND — Out with the young, in with the old. Mike Holmgren and the Cleveland Browns have shaken up the quarterback position, ditching Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn in favor of veterans Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace. Delhomme is notorious for his multi-interception games, while Wallace is a three-and-out master under center. “These guys are definitely going to be battling for bench time,” said Holmgren. “Jake’s getting old. He’s going to want breathers in between picks. Wallace, I think this guy just wants to cash his veteran tender and call it a day. I think the healthy competition to stay off the field is what’s going to make 2010 so different from 2009.” Browns season ticket holders are excited. “I’ve never had such low expectations a month before the draft,” said Mark Flynn, Browns season ticket holder. “I guess it’s refreshing to know without a doubt we’re going to suck this early. Not getting my hopes up will make this the best season ever.”
