Pitino to tournament: ‘I don’t usually finish this quickly...DENVER—After 4th seeded Louisville was shocked by 13th seeded Morehead State in the first round yesterday afternoon, Louisville head coach Rick Pitino was forced to awkwardly apologized to the tournament for his extremely brief and unsatisfying performance. “Wow, I’m really sorry about,” Pitino said shamefully. “Look, I don’t usually finish this quickly, I swear.”

While the NCAA tournament insisted to Pitino that is was “no big deal,” both parties were visibly embarrassed about his premature exit. “I’m just distracted,” Pitino explained in hopes of salvaging some sort of dignity. “Normally I’m good for at least two or three games. One time, back in ’96, I even went all tournament long.” However, Pitino, realizing his excuses were falling upon deaf ears, finally began to exit the arena. “Hey, maybe I’ll catch you next season,” Pitino blurted out in one last moment of discomfort. “Or we could hang out or whatever. Ok, so the door is over here right?”
