HEAVEN—Residents of the Divine Kingdom are growing increasingly concerned over God’s unhealthy infatuation of reuniting favored son Tim Tebow with his former college coach, Urban Meyer. It began earlier this week when God’s season long sabotage of the Denver Broncos resulted in the firing of their head coach. Now, with God forcing Meyer’s resignation from the University of Florida, residents of Heaven have begun worrying that God has gone too far.
“I don’t want to question Him, being He’s God and all,” said longtime friend St. Peter. “It’s just that some of us think He’s going overboard. It’s not His style to meddle in the affairs of the living, so it’s a bit unsettling. Last time He got overly involved in Earthly matters was like 2000 years ago, and it didn’t end well. Christ, they’re still making a huge deal of it down there.”
