class="MsoNormal">Taylor Connors, a delivery driver for Dominos Pizza, openly vented his frustration to co-workers and patrons alike after discovering he was not named MLB’s Delivery Man of the Year when the award was announced Wednesday. Connors strongly believed he would win the award, but the MLB decided the Health Bell’s 1.93 ERA and 47 saves were more impressive than Connors' flawless record of delivering pizzas on time and leaving every customer satisfied.
“I really couldn’t believe it,” a despondent Connors told colleagues and customers who would listen to him. “I worked day after day making sure every delivery was handled with care. I got great tips. No order mix-ups, drops, or cold pizzas. This Heath Bell guy only made 67 appearances, and he gets named Delivery Man of the Year? Bullcrap. I deserve that award.”
