On July 2, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. drove his father's famous Wrangler blue and yellow #3 into victory lane in the Nationwide Series Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona. Junior said this would be the final time he would drive the #3 again. Halfway through the race it looked like Junior didn't have the stuff to win the race, but he made a miraculous comeback to take the checkered flag. A closer look shows Zombie Dale may have played a larger role than TNT's coverage showed.
