Wilson signs new scapegoat for a year or two
BUFFALO - The Buffalo Bills hired Chan Gailey as head scapegoat for Ralph Wilson over the next year or two. Gailey will report directly to Wilson and the fans so that he may take the blame for the Bills not making the playoffs and screwing the pooch yet again. Gailey comes to the Bills after being an assistant scapegoat for the Kansas City Chiefs where he was relieved of his scapegoat duties after three preseason games. He hasn't scapegoated since. "We looked long and hard for the best scapegoat this team could afford," said Wilson in a statement. "These fans deserved the best. But we found Gailey. I'm sure everyone looks forward to seeing his face on fan billboards around Week 5 in 2010."
