White guys make One Shining Moment a little too shiny
INDIANAPOLIS—With March Madness in the books, viewers of the championship game eagerly awaited the CBS tradition of “One Shining Moment” a musical video montage of the greatest plays of the tournament. Since the final game was between predominantly white teams Duke and Butler, this year’s One Shining Moment was a little too shiny for some. “I turned on the end of the game to catch One Shining Moment and all I saw was white boys,” said basketball fan Shawne Williams. “I had to put on sunglasses it was so bright.” Many people reportedly called their cable provider to inquire as to why a Seinfeld rerun was being televised while the One Shining Moment music played.
