UNC coach Roy Williams named Douchebag Roy Williams of the Week

NEW YORK — Sports writers revealed their votes for Douchebag Roy Williams of the Week and the winner of this, the week of December 13, 2009, is Roy Williams, head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team. Williams earns this week’s honors by ejecting a visiting Presbyterian College fan during the game for shouting during his player’s free throw attempt. This is Williams’ second award in two months, as he also won for the week of November 23 after falling on wet steps at a golf event and tearing a labrum in his left shoulder. Coach Williams edged out Roy E. Williams, the undeperforming wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, who trash-talked the undefeated New Orleans Saints for their upcoming game this Saturday. Roy E. Williams can lock up the Douchebag Roy Williams of the Year with a victory next week. Cincinnati Bengals safety Roy Williams is currently the third biggest douche.
