UCONN women get 71st straight win before they go back in to kitchen to make me a sandwich
MANSFIELD - UCONN women are really good at making sandwiches, most of these women go pro in making sandwiches after graduation. But lately, basketball has really been getting in the way of a savory ham and muenster. The problem is, the UCONN women have been playing NCAA basketball –and playing a bit too much. They've won 71 straight basketball games, so you can bet they've been practicing a lot while my sandwich SITS IN THE FRIDGE IN PIECES, WAITING TO BE MADE! Most sandwich experts are puzzled. They wonder why sandwich-making isn't a priority in lives of these women. "What it really comes down to," says sandwich expert Jon Malloy. "Is choosing what will make you successful in life. No one wants to see girls play basketball past the age of 14. But they do want to see a girl make a delicious turkey robert on toasted ciabatta. These are skills for life. Remember ladies, these sandwiches don't make themselves."
