Tourists take in a few plays of Cowboys game
ARLINGTON — A group touring the new Cowboys Stadium Sunday stopped to watch a few minutes of the Dallas Cowboys-Washington Redskins game, before continuing the tour. The $1.15 billion stadium is the largest domed stadium in the world, attracting tourists from all over the country. “I’m really excited to tell my friends I saw the biggest HD screen in the world,” said tourist Terry Gilchrist, from Cheyenne, Wyoming. “The arches are amazing. And it was cool to see Roy Williams drop a pass before checking out the luxury suites.” As tourists took turns taking pictures next to the largest retractable glass doors ever constructed, the Cowboys’ offense had another three-and-out thanks to a false start by Flozell Adams and an illegal motion by tight end Jason Witten. “I can’t believe I’m going to miss it,” said Gilchrist. “Kenny Chesney is playing here Tuesday and our flight home leaves Monday.”
