Titans field underwater, Saints lose title of America's Team
NASHVILLE - Heavy rain and flooded rivers throughout much of the state of Tennessee has put LP Field, home of the Titans, underwater. After learning the Titan's field was flooded up to the first row of seats, a representative from the Associated Press went to New Orleans to obtain the official "America's Team" seal from the Saints and then drove to Nashville to bestow it upon the 2010 Tennessee Titans. "We look at a lot of different criteria when selecting a team that will be known as the team that all of America will get behind," said a member of the America's Team Selection Committee. "I think it's pretty obvious why we chose the Titans this year. A lot of natural disasters hit this team. From flooding to Rex Grossman."
