NEW YORK — During the Westminster Kennel Club dog show Tuesday night, members from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals walked into center ring to protest the celebration of breeding dogs. “I am confused to what they were protesting, these dogs are more humanely treated than most humans,” said Westminster spokesman David Frei. “If they were from the People for More Ethical Treatment for Humans than Animals, then I would understand, but these PETA bitches are just being assholes.” Westminster, steeped in tradition, took offense by the act and voted to shoot all losing dogs on site. After Sadie the Scottish Terrier won, the rest of the dogs were taken to center ring and shot in the head by their owners. “We need to put an end to PETA getting their panties in a wad over everything,” said Frei. “I mean grooming a French Bulldog for 4 hours a day and feeding it foie gras and Perrier is pretty pretentious, but protesting that we don’t love dogs enough is fucking insane.”
