Shanahan thought that 'Skins play was awesome, wants a piece of that
WASHINGTON - Former Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan watched the Washington Redskins play a thrilling game on Monday and saw that amazing play just before the end of the first half. The one where it looked like they had no idea what they were doing when they were trying to confuse the defense but they ended up confusing the defense and themselves. Well, anyways, Shananhan was impressed. So impressed in fact that he might ready to return to coaching. And he's eying the 'Skins. "I really think they've got spunk," said Shanahan. "I doubt Zorn will ever want to step down. That guy has got it good there. He can run whatever plays he wants and get the job done. But if something were to happen, give me a call, Snyder. I'll take you out, treat you real nice."
