Rollins revises prediction
PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins revised his World Series prediction today. “Yankees in five!” Rollins said definitively. Rollins had appeared on the Jay Leno Show and predicted Phillies in five, but after three straight losses to the Yankees and staring down elimination, Rollins had a change of heart. “So wow, those Yankees are good. They’re no Dodgers,” Rollins said. “I don’t think we have what it takes to get the series back to New York, even with Cliff on the mound,” said Rollins. Rollins plans to market a Nostra-Rollins toy crystal ball that predicts things, then takes it back when those things do not come to fruition. He also went on to predict many off-season events, such as extra strength-training and studying, which he says he will most likely end up revising in March with drinking and partying.
