Rex Ryan also predicts he’ll be People’s 2010 Sexiest Man Alive
NEW YORK —New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan on Monday made the bold prediction that the Jets are the Super Bowl favorites. Vegas odds makers disagree with the first-year head coach, making the Jets a 50-to-1 shot to win the Super Bowl, longest odds in the 12-team field. “To me, we should be the favorites,” said Ryan. His predictions didn’t end there, however, as he also made some even bolder prognostications. “I’m going to be People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive this year,” he said. “I mean women love a man with power, who’s not afraid to cry, who has an irrational amount of confidence, and of course has amazing looks.” Ryan also said he likes the New Jersey Nets to win the NBA Finals, Mark Mangino to win NCAA coach of the year and Gilbert Arenas to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
