New England Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss recently announced that he is parting ways with his longtime agent, Tom DiPiero. Moss is now on the lookout for new representation, and several agents are already making a strong push to land the talented veteran as a client.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk discussd the decision in a recent post, all while providing Fred McGif with today's material.

Florio:

Over the weekend, Pats receiver Randy Moss threw a large bucket of chum into the water, making it known that he has no agent and that he's looking for a new one.

And now the sharks have arrived.

According to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com, top agents are jostling for a crack at Moss.  Per La Canfora, Moss will meet with at least one prospective representative this week.

Moss' football career might be nearing its end, but apparently he wants to prepare for a life after the NFL. He hopes his new agent will help him earn more money outside of football, through endorsements and appearing in commercials. Which is fine with me. The guy can be a little bitch sometimes, but he is pretty entertaining.
