Pro Bowl not any indication of professional football player status
MIAMI - Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback David Garrard has been added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster after Peyton Manning is out due to the Super Bowl. Tom Brady and Ben Rothlisberger have already pulled out. The Jaguars organization seems to be really happy with the selection of Garrard. "This is great," said Jaguars President John Someguy. "You guys at the NFL should feel free to keep him. We don't need him. Not with the draft coming up." The NFL has been marketing the Pro Bowl as a game of all stars but are now wondering if they should change the name of the game all together. "We've been considering the Better than Jay Cutler Bowl," said marketing guy, Scooter Switchblade. "Or maybe the Mean Bowl. It's an edgy name but yet we're secretly saying, 'average.' The name we're currently going with to get the ratings: 'Baroque Ice Dancing: Men with Flair.' We have to stay competitive."
