Priests urge Notre Dame to go after Big Ten-Year-Olds
SOUTH BEND — Rumors have swirled this offseason that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football program may be joining the Big Ten conference. As the Notre Dame athletic department tries to deny the rumors, Catholic priests on campus are in full support of the move. “I think we should be going after the Big Ten,” said Father Clarke O’Shaughnessy. “I like my ten-year-olds a little on the fuller side, so that’s something I’m in favor of.” Priests have also voiced their support for Notre Dame going after the Naughty Nine all the way to the Pre-Pubescent Twelve. The athletic department did not comment.
