Panthers backup QB Moore appears on Hall of Fame Ballot after Giants game
NEW YORK - Carolina Panthers backup quarterback Matt Moore destroyed the New York Giants on Sunday in a 41-9 pounding. Matt Moore, the backup for Jake Delhomme–ahem... THE BACKUP FOR JAKE DELHOMME– was instantly added to to this year's Hall of Fame ballot because everyone thought the Giants were supposed to be good and Moore destroyed them with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. "Remember when the Giants started 5 and 0?" asked Moore after the game. "Also, remember when I was a backup for Jake Delhomme? And then I lead the Panthers to beat the Giants? Yea, it was just a couple of minutes ago."
