The Official Pro Football Suspension Shop
The National Football League has made a concerted effort in recent weeks to crack down on helmet-to-helmet violence. This week, the league even handed down fines to three players—including James Harrison of the Pittsburgh Steelers—for their hits on players who sustained injuries this weekend. Interestingly, though, as of this morning, fans could purchase images of those hits on the NFL website. Many were outraged, calling the league hypocrites on the issue for trying to turn a profit on the actions of players whom they were suspending. Based on some of the items that the league was already selling on its website, though, the latest development should not be so alarming.
