NBA yoga position charts

Yoga doesn’t really have the hippie, feminine stigma it once had. Many athletes—NBA players included—find it extremely useful for improving balance, core strength and flexibility. Slam magazine’s Kyle Stack recently wrote an article about the growth of yoga in the NBA, as teams like the Nuggets, Clippers and Hawks have all employed yoga instructors. But as more NBA players are embracing yoga as a way to improve their basketball skills, the more there’s a need for basketball specific yoga positions, which is why we consulted with Tauntr’s in-house yoga instructor to develop these NBA-inspired yoga poses.
