Masoli Will Skip Season So He Can Learn How To Use New Laptop
UNIVERSITY, MS - Former Oregon Ducks Quarterback and current Ole Miss transfer Jeremiah Masoli has decided to sit out the upcoming 2010 NCAA Football season in order to dedicate his time to mastering the use of his new, customized MacBook Pro.
Masoli, who admits he normally uses computers that support Microsoft’s Windows Operating System, told the press that he need to focus all of his attention on mastering the new Mac OS. “I’m usually a Windows guy,” explained Masoli. “But I got an awesome deal on this Mac, one too good to pass up, so now I just need to figure out how it all works.”
Masoli’s new coach, Houston Nutt, while disappointed with the decision, understands Masoli’s motivation. “Sure, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want him out on the field for us. But on the other hand, the kid has been through a lot: School, graduating, switching from PC to Mac, getting kicked off his old team for God knows what—that’ll weigh on a young man. So maybe it’s best if he puts football aside for a year and focus on learning the vast array of features in Snow Leopard and remixing Jay-Z songs in GarageBand.”
