Mankins holdout leaves Brady susceptible to defensive drivers
BOSTON - New England Patroits guard Logan Mankins is still currently holding out for the 2010 season. And Mankins' abscence has left a hole in the offensive line that has left quarterback Tom Brady susceptible to defensive drivers. "They're starting to go after me hard," said Tom Brady after suffering a hit from a defensive driver early Thursday morning at a Comm Ave. intersection. "I think we've really got to think about getting Logan back out here for this season. I know I could use him. On the field and off. I'm gonna need a new car. Thinking about a safe one. Like, a minivan or one of those Volvos. I'd gladly pay Logan whatever he wants if he'd let me duct tape him to my hood. I'll keep his arms free so that he can stop all oncoming traffic. A quarterback has to be alert in traffic. But he's only as good as his O-line will allow. I know Bob Kraft agrees with me on this. He's already given me the duct tape for Mankins.
