Kiffin to sing Rocky Top Tennessee on beach in Malibu
LOS ANGELES - University of Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin announced in a press conference that he is leaving for LA to sing Rocky Top Tennessee on a beautiful beach in Malibu. Kiffin said he found it much easier to sing the song on a Malibu beach due to the acoustics, the beauty of the area and the weak PAC-10 conference. "The University of Tennessee has done so much for me that I feel like I need to sing this song for them," Kiffin said in a press conference. "They took me in, gave me a hefty salary and offered me a place to stay on my layover on the way to Malibu." Then he broke into some type of singing warmup. "Do-Re Me-I-Lov-Pete-Car-Roll! ...That's just a sample of what you're going to get," Kiffin went on. "You can bet I'll head on down to that beach to sing it IF we beat Washington State. That's all I wanna do."
