The NFL has suspended Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Johnny Jolly for the entire 2010 season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Jolly faces drug charges in Houston after being arrested two years ago for possession of codeine cough syrup, the main ingredient in an underground drug known as Purple Drank.

Purple Drank was invented in Houston by underground rappers and taken mainstream by rapper Lil Wayne.
