The NBA, for the first time in its history, banned a shoe from competition because it would provide users “an unfair competitive advantage.” Athletic Propulsion Labs claims that its Concept1 shoe increases vertical leap, speed and an individual’s use of neon-green. But what exactly goes into the making of the Concept1 that gives it such qualities? We brought the illicit sneaker into the TAUNTR Labs, broke it down then reconstructed it with this super fancy and outlandishly expensive animation to find out.
