Hurricane afraid to visit New Orleans after wild all-night celebration

NEW ORLEANS — Bourbon Street is still in full-on party mode over 12 hours after the New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts to win their first Super Bowl in team history. “I’ve never seen a party like this,” said Bourbon Street bar owner Nicolas Dupree. “Even the wildest Mardi Gras night pales in comparison. I don’t see this party slowing down until after Mardi Gras is over in a couple weeks.” The party is so raucous it has actually deterred a potential hurricane from hitting the New Orleans area. “Yeah man, that looks a little too crazy, even for me,” said Hurricane Oscar. Oscar was building up deep in the Gulf of Mexico heading for New Orleans, but changed course and looks like it will hit the Bahamas instead. “I think I’ll just go tear up some shit in the Bahamas instead. Drunk bandwagon fans in New Orleans are going to do more damage there than I ever could.”
