House shaped like Tony Gonzalez’s head not selling in down economy
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — After his Manhattan Beach home has remained on the market for over a year, Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez has dropped the asking price on the beach house that is shaped like his head to $3.6 million. Gonzalez will also throw in a brand new Porsche 911 Cabriolet with his face airbrushed on the hood. “I bought this island in the south pacific with a likeness of me sculpted into a volcano, so this house has become expendable,” said Gonzalez. To pay for the undisclosed price of the private island, Gonzalez is attempting to liquidate some assets but finding it difficult in a recession. “Not only will whoever buys the Manhattan Beach TonyDome get an awesome painting of my face on a freaking Porsche, they will also get to see the tattoo of my head on a dragon my wife’s got on her left breast,” Gonzalez said. “Let the offers begin.”
