Hot dog vendor cuts off Ryan; Ryan gives him the finger
MIAMI — New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan was photographed at an MMA Strikeforce event flipping the bird Saturday. Eyewitnesses said Ryan was also yelling profanities and had to be held down by friends as a hot dog vendor passed by without acknowledging the coach’s cries for a hot dog. “I had to cut him off,” said hot dog vendor Dwight Gentry. “He had just cleaned me out of my last two loads of hot dogs. Other people in the arena were hungry, and I wasn’t going to let him clean me out for a third time.” Once Gentry denied Ryan, he immediately became irate. “He was shouting that he was going to eat me and my children if I didn’t give him the hot dogs,” Gentry said. “I passed by Mike Tyson, who was in attendance, and even Tyson said Ryan was crazy.” Ryan was finally subdued when the churro guy came down his aisle.
