HBO asks for second take on Jet-Panthers preseason game but this time with more emotion

NEW YORK - HBO has reviewed its footage from the Jets-Panthers preseason game in order to produce the next episode of Hard Knocks and has decided to ask for a second take. The footage of the game was deemed "worthless" for being unoriginal, uninspired and not worth the price from cables'  #1 subscription network. "I looked at the footage from the New York-Carolina game. We can't air any of it. You can't make an episode around two guys kicking the ball back and forth. That's called soccer and we don't air that crap on HBO. Yes, it's supposed to be reality TV but the reality of it is–we're going to have to do another take. And the teams are going to have to act like they like playing football. And Rex Ryan should swear more and maybe show his boobies."
An open casting call has gone out to find a possible replacement for Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. HBO wants to replace Sanchez with someone who looks more believable in the role and who will pass better than 5 of 10 for 12 yards. To add to the drama, former quarterback Joe Namath will be allowed to roam freely on the sidelines with a fifth of Cutty Sark and some cherry-flavored chapstick.

HBO could also have a tough road ahead of them as they try to get the crowd back in the stands. Of the thousands that were in attendance, only nine have agreed to return as long as they can bring their blanky.
