Haynesworth fails shampooing test
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA - Washington Redskins' Albert Haynesworth finally passed his conditioning test this weekend, but it seems as though another test could give him just as much, if not more trouble. The highest paid player on the Redskins officially failed his shampooing test over the weekend and coach Mike Shanahan was not impressed. "For a player like Haynseworth to fail a shampooing test in training camp... it's just unacceptable," said Shanahan. "It's a simple test, really. You grab the shampoo. You work it into a nice lather. You keep it on for a minute or so and then you rinse thoroughly. Repeat if desired. Hayensworth falls apart at the rinse. He always comes out of the shower with soapy residue. It's ridiculous. It burns his eyes. You can't give interviews to the media with soapy residue all over your head and face and in your eyes." Redskins' owner Dan Snyder is also not happy about Haynesworth failing this extremely basic test. Snyder, in fact, thinks this test should have been taken care of before the conditioning test. "You always start with the shampooing test, then move onto the conditioning test. It doesn't make sense to mess up the order," said Snyder. "This should have been taken care of weeks ago."
