Georgia is done with the inconsistent Cox sucking
ATHENS - The University of Georgia Bulldogs ended their 2009 season with a strong win over Texas A & M in the Independence Bowl. Unfortunately, though, the game also signaled the end of the Cox era in Athens. While senior quarterback Joe Cox has been inconsistent and at times a disappointment to a fan base that demands their team win every single game, many are sad to see him go. Indeed, since he isn't much of an NFL draft prospect, it's a bit of bummer for everyone that enjoys making Cox jokes. "We're gonna press on," said Georgia head coach Mark Richt. "It's tough, because we all like those jokes about our favorite red-headed stepchild. But I've got a few recruits lined up. Hans Job, Pat Uranus, and Jim Howmanydicksinya come to mind. They're all about as good of a QB as Cox but, gosh darnit, if those names don't make me giggle like a Japanese school girl."
