Fans eagerly await their team to select Clausen so they can punch him in the face
NEW YORK — The first round of the 2010 NFL Draft came and went without quarterback Jimmy Clausen being selected. Fans around the country were upset the disliked star Notre Dame was not picked by their favorite team. “I really thought my 49ers were going to draft Clausen,” said San Francisco fan Jake Dalrymple. “I have been training to punch him in the face for months.” Fans who made the trek to New York City to see the draft live were also extremely upset. “I came all the way here to punch that little blond prick in the face,” said Cleveland Browns fan Larry Howard. “He’s not even here. He probably pussed out because he knew someone would beat his ass.” ESPN reporter and Dancing With The Stars contestant Erin Andrews has been reporting from Clausen’s home in Southern California. “If he goes to the Dolphins I’ll be the first to punch that punk in the face,” said Andrews. “Back to you, Chris.”
