Eli pops massive zit during preseason game
NEW YORK - New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is relieved today after he finally popped a massive zit that plagued his forehead throughout all of preseason. During the Giants preseason game versus the New York Jets, a special play was designed by Giants coach Tom Coughlin in order to help pop the engorged pimple. Knowing it was time, Manning called the play, bounced off his running back and was hit hard by the Jets' Calvin Pace which caused the zit to gush in such an explosive fury, that it blew his helmet clean off. It was a bleeder too. "All through training camp, everyone just kept staring at it," said Manning. "It grew fast too. I should have showered after practice more. It went from being the size of a golf ball to a grapefruit in less than a week. I could barely fit my helmet on. I'm glad that play worked and we didn't have to go with plan B. Which was to have Plaxico (former teammate Plaxico Burress) pull out his gun and shoot it."
