The 2010 Boston Red Sox have been absolutely devastated by injuries. Amazingly, Boston has been able to stay in the American League Wild Card hunt to this point, despite facing a severe outbreak of the injury bug. However, the recent trip to the DL for star second baseman Dustin Pedroia will make remaining in the postseason hunt a lot more difficult. The Red Sox DL is definitely trending now, but it will be difficult to steal the mayorship away from Boston's oft-injured center fielder, Jacoby Ellsbury.
