Dungy completely appalled by every single second of True Blood, cancels HBO subscription
NEW YORK - Former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy called his cable provider to cancel his HBO subscription yesterday, citing that the network is filled with "pure filth." After watching the football-themed show Hard Knocks, starring the New York Jets, Dungy became disgusted with the amount of F-bombs dropped by head coach Rex Ryan. "When I heard the 'Jesus Horseflies' –as I call them– coming out of coach Ryan's mouth, I had to turn that show off," said Dungy. But the former NFL coach thought HBO deserved another chance. So, he settled into watch an episode of True Blood. What he saw, almost stopped his heart. "DEMONS! Sinners!" exclaimed Dungy. "Never in all my year's on this earth have I seen anything more horrid. Blood! Guts! Sex! And drinking in a bar! I cannot believe what they put on the TV these days. I would never hire anyone involved in this network for my company that only exists in my head."
Dungy has confirmed that his HBO subscription has been cancelled. He is still undecided on Cinemax. He says he plans to dive into that network tonight and make a final decision. But not until much later in the evening after he gets home from work.
