Duke issues statement thanking other Final Four teams for all their hard work
DURHAM - Duke University held a press conference early this morning, thanking the other three teams in this year's Final Four tournament for all the hard work they've put in at knocking off top seeded teams so Duke doesn't have to play them. "As you all know, there are, well, were a lot of great teams in this tournament. We would like to thank the other Final Four teams, Butler, Michigan State and West Virginia for dealing with those opponents, directly or indirectly. We're pretty freaking positive that this year's Duke team would never have been able to beat Kansas, Kentucky or Syracuse. We also faced a hard road to get here. Facing teams like Baylor and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Here's hoping it's smooth sailing from here on out. Go Duke!"
