The Cinderella success of the Cornell Big Red was one of the best storylines of the NCAA tournament this past March. Cornell stunned the world and busted many brackets by advancing to the Sweet 16 from the non-scholarship Ivy League. Along the way, the underdog Big Red became an easy team to root for—and not just because of the opportunity for bloggers to make Andy Bernard references—when pinned up against traditional college basketball powers. The true David vs. Goliath matchup came against an excellent Kentucky Wildcats squad, which arguably had more NBA talent than the New Jersey Nets this past season.

Despite eventually falling to Kentucky, though, Cornell earned the respect of the nation for holding its own without a single future NBA regular. The following video, though, might eradicate some of that well-deserved respect. At least for players Louis Dale, Jeff Foote and Ryan Wittman, who all took part in a strange dance routine, set to Beyonce’s Single Ladies, to promote the school’s senior prom.
