Buffalo residents relieved NHL playoffs won't interfere with monster truck rally

BUFFALO — The Boston Bruins defeated the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 in game six to advance in the NHL playoffs. Buffalo fans were relieved that no further playoff games will interfere with “ThunderSlam,” an upcoming monster truck rally that could have possibly been postponed with a game seven. “Hey I’m all for the Sabres winning, but there’s no other sight like Bigfoot crushing cars,” said Roy Krupka, Buffalo fan. “I got to hand it to the Bruins, they played better than anyone thought they would, and you have to hand it to Truckasaurus Rex. That fire-breathing, metal-munching dinobot is so freaking bad ass.” Tickets for ThunderSlam at the HSBC Arena have been sold out since November.
