
The Big East releases every team from its conference except Syracuse, West Virginia
PROVIDENCE - The highly touted Big East Conference has announced the teams that will remain in the Big East as well as the teams that will be released to other conferences. As it stands now, only Syracuse and West Virginia will be allowed to stay in the BIg East, for basketball only. All other teams, including recent NCAA tourney losers Georgetown, Villanova, Louisville, Pittsburgh, UCONN, Notre Dame and Marquette will all be moved into a newly created conference known as the SBC. The Sucks Balls Conference. The Sucks Balls Conference teams will not have any relation to the Big East, nor will they be allowed to play any of the teams in the Big East. The Sucks Balls Conference will also be kept from ever playing in the NCAA tourney ever again. The schedule is not finalized but Syracuse and West Virginia will play at least 23 games against each other next year.
