Bengals work out Pacman Jones, interested in Rae Carruth too
CINCINNATI — Adam “Pacman” Jones worked out with the Cincinnati Bengals today as the Bengals kicked off their yearly free-agent scouting through the nation’s police blotter. “I love giving kids second, third, fourth chances,” said Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. “Our owners are so stingy we can’t go out and get the best players without a long police record, so it’s to the penitentiaries I go.” Bengals have also reported interest in ex-Carolina Panthers wide receiver Rae Carruth, who conspired to kill his girlfriend. Michael Vick and Plaxico Burress are also scheduled to meet with Lewis later this month. Michael Irvin is also in the mix. “Hell, I paid that chick to say I raped her so I could make a comeback with the Bengals,” said Irvin. “Hopefully I get a call soon, or I’ll have to choke a bitch.” UPDATE: Bengals sign ex-drug dealer Matt Jones. They really love their criminals.
