America having trouble naming the NHL teams that didn't make the playoffs

NEW YORK CITY - A recent poll suggests that the majority of Americans are having trouble naming teams in the NHL that didn't make the NHL playoffs. When forced to name the teams that actually did make the playoffs, Americans have no problem but most are finding it hard not to name all 30 teams. Often times, those polled have a hard time believing that not all 30 teams made the cut. "I know Detroit is in it. They're always in it, " said one American. "The Pittsburgh Crosbies and the Washington Ovechkins are in it. And whatever team has anything to do with Wayne Gretzky has to be in it. But When it comes to thinking about teams that aren't in it, I can only think of NBA teams. Maybe that's how the NHL playoffs work. No NBA teams. All I know is, the NHL playoffs take about 6 years  to complete. I can't wait till we crown the 2004 champion. That's one for the history books."
