Let this be a lesson to all the young children out there. It doesn’t matter if you’re the ACC Offensive Player of the Year. It doesn’t matter if you’re one of college football’s most electrifying players and have an amazing game on a national stage. Nor is it of any consequence that you are playing in the tradition-rich Orange Bowl, a BCS game against one of the country’s top team and their star quarterback Andrew Luck.
No, none of this matters if you aren’t playing for the national title. Your game is boring and no one really cares, not even your parents. Which Tyrod Taylor’s mother and father, Trina and Rodney, so wonderfully demonstrated for us last night.
