LeBron James finally gets his comeuppance

LeBron James has been pretty quiet this year. Not on the court, mind you. He's been pretty loud there, loud enough where he's a favorite to grab a 3rd MVP award. But off the court he's been low key. No lavish birthday cakes or cartoon series or locker room crying sessions [though the purse incident was kind of bad].

He's kind of shaken off the evil persona he seemed to invite upon himself last year and just got down to business. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't be reprimanded for past transgressions. And while some can argue he received his just due in the NBA Finals last season, I don't think anyone will argue that LeBron James didn't have a slap across the face coming either.

So thanks, Landry Fields, for exacting NBA fans' revenge, even if it was sooner rather than later.
