Kemba Walker, the only player in UConn basketball history who has a diploma and the #9 overall draft pick by the Charlotte Bobcats knows he won’t be getting a game check anytime soon. So he went out and inked a shoe deal—the first of his draft class to do so.
But Kemba didn’t go with the industry standard and boss Michael Jordan’s beloved Nike. He signed with Under Armour, who is trying to build a presence in the Association, and the best way to do that is sign high profile talent, which they did with Walker, and to make some pretty badass and eye catching shoes, which they did with these Kemba models.
