He's not playing profession basketball because he's retired. He's not talking about professional basketball professionally because there's a lockout. Thus, The Big Social Media Magnate is left with little else to do besides making low resolution Internet videos and blowing our minds [as well as his own] with this smoke trick. 

Kudos to Shaq's girlfriend Hoopz as well for her role in this trick. It's good to see a reality TV star finally discover there's other body parts you can blow for fame.
